Siri said to power new “iCloud Voicemail” service www.gsmegypt.me Maybe Apple really is going to start making Siri more powerful. Or, at the very least, more useful. A new report suggests that Cupertino is working to use Siri to power a new voicemail system and transcription service called iCloud Voicemail. According to Business Insider , Siri will “answer” your calls, presumably as the voice in your voicemail inbox, and will then transcribe the message and provide it to the end user. That’s similar to what Google already does with Google Voice services, though the transcriptions aren’t that reliable just yet. Apple’s transcriptions will be provided to end users through iCloud and direct to their iOS devices; it will also be capable of telling callers if you’re busy, presumably by pulling data from your calendar. Business Insider said Apple employees are already testing iCloud Voicemail and that it’s on course to launch sometime in 2016. Contact Us On www.gsme
